Below are the three companies in the Independent Power Producers industry with the lowest Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.

Synthesis Energy Systems ranks lowest with a an RPE of $3,000. Following is Ormat Technologies with a an RPE of $440,000. American DG Energy ranks third lowest with a an RPE of $440,000.

Juhl Wind follows with a an RPE of $452,000, and AES rounds out the bottom five with a an RPE of $610,000.
