Newport Senior Activities Center
The Newport Senior Activities Center announces the Wellness Roundup Senior Health Fair, Tuesday, October 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This annual FREE event is sponsored by the Senior Center and numerous local vendors and contributors. There will be food, fun, games, prizes, and a wealth of booths offering encouraging information regarding health, fitness, wellness, and living your life to the fullest!? Learn new ideas on healthy eating to put your body into better shape and improve your mind for a longer, more enjoyable life. Lions Mobile Health Van will be on site. Testing will be available for blood pressure, hearing, vision, bone density, glaucoma, diabetes (must fast for three-hours prior to test) and more.
Vendors will include: Carlson Wealth Management Group, S. Mealer, Attorney; Bayside, Sea Air, Oceanview, Dorchester House, and Graceland Senior Living; RSVP, SHIBA, AARP, Red Cross, Samaritan Health Services, Breast Cancer Awareness, Meals On Wheels; Aging Wisely, Adeo Homecare; Hospice Care, M.J. Higgens, Acupuncture; Oregon Telecommunication, Oregon State Library, 211 ORG, Senior Ombudsman, Pacific West Ambulance, Dentures To You, Health Haven, Senior Outreach, and other health service representatives who will be available for your questions.
Come in and have a great time learning more ways to take better care of yourself. Western wear encouraged!
